Chrysler Museum Glass Studio Tour
Suffolk Art League and Suffolk Art Gallerywill sponsor a trip to the Chrysler Museum of Art in Norfolkin late April to attend a demonstration at the new Glass Studio, tour the Chrysler Galleries and lunch at the museum.
There is something seductive about molten glass being transformed into beautiful, delicate art. We will get to watch a demonstration at the Chrysler's new hot glass studio as the artists form the soft malleable glass into forms of beauty.
We will also have a docent led "Meet the Museum" tour of the Chrysler's collection. This is a great highlights tour and will give us the chance to explore the museum while learning multiple ways of looking and talking about art. Arrangements for lunch in the Chrysler's restaurant will make the day complete.
If you are interested in receiving the complete details about this trip, please let us know by calling 757-925-0448 and be sure to leave an email or mailing address, or "like" Suffolk Art League on FaceBook or watch the website, www.suffolkartleague.org, as information will be posted there as well.
